Our New Website is about to be launched

The Music Tutors London, on the eve of the launch of their new website is excited to introduce ourselves.

The Music Tutors was founded by Laura Lamph and Miles Lallemant with the intention of providing  high quality music teachers to homes all over London.

Miles read Classics at Cambridge University, singing in Jesus College Chapel Choir. He then spent several years in Dublin where he sang with St Patrick’'s Cathedral Choir, the choir famous for giving the first performance of Handel'’s Messiah. As an opera repetiteur he has worked with several opera companies in the UK and Ireland and has recorded with Ars Nova(Copenhagen) and The National Chamber Choir of Ireland.

Laura studied Music at Leeds University and went on to sing in Christ Church Cathedral Choir, Dublin. During her time in the choir, Laura was appointed as the singing teacher to the Cathedral Choristers. Performance and recording credits include Celtic Woman, Crux Early Music Ensemble, Resurgam and the BBC, including a solo performance on Last Night of the Proms.
Laura performs regularly around Europe ; performances include The World Choral Festival in Vienna where she was a soloist in concert with the Vienna Boys' Choir, and most recently at the St Louis en L'’lle festival in Paris.
As an experienced performer in jazz, opera, Irish traditional and early music, her diversity has proved to be of great value to the running of the school.

           

Our team is made up of some of London's finest young musicians. They are all highly trained musicians with widespread performing experience in the industry. We hold the highest of standards when choosing our teachers, most of whom have worked with us closely for many years.
